Sandra Wright

Sandra Kay Wright, 55 of Gatesville, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2017. Sandy was born August 25, 1962 in Killeen, TX to Milton and Catherine Reid. She was more than just a mother to her five children.
She attended Killeen High School, was a late owner of Gates Cleaners until 2005 upon its closing, and she was a member of Sunset Baptist Church. Sandy then became a stay home Mom, where she loved to volunteer her time with the local CERT Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Prior to her passing, Sandy was currently working on a political campaign in Coryell County for a County Judge seat. She loved spending time with her family, help raising grandkids, and banana laffy taffy.
She is preceded in death by her father Milton J. Reid, and son Colton Wright.
Left to cherish the memories of her are her children Christie Carter, Tiesha Wright, Cody Wright (Amanda), and Korri Huntley (Kord); Sister - Shirley Roach, Sue Hodge and Brother - Terry Reid; Grandkids - Devin Carter-McGurk, Ashley Carter, Racheal Deleon, Leticia Wright whom she was guardian too, Lydia Estorga, Gabriel Estorga, Jacob Briede, Abbigail Wright, Jake Spencer, Karigan Huntley, and Jamon Huntley; one adopted Sister Barbara Sueoka, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be appreciated for funeral expenses to Catherine Reid PO Box 1258 Gatesville TX 76528.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
