Santiaga Flores

Services for Santiaga Flores, 81, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at HarperTalasek Chapel in Killeen with Father Adam Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Flores died April 8, 2012, in Colorado where she was surrounded by her daughter, Erlinda Guess, and family.

She was a courageous and loving mother, who always put her family first. She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening and crocheting. Attending Catholic Mass and instilling good family values to her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren was of the utmost importance to her.

Mrs. Flores was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Helen Rodriguez.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard Flores Jr. and Rafael Flores four daughters, Erlinda Guess, Jane Flores, Caroline Clauson and Andrea Sons one sister, Victoria Gonzales of Killeen one brother, Cecil Sanchez of Houston 29 grandchildren 34 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreatgrandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
