Shai Hathaway

Funeral services for Shai Nelson Hathaway, of Salado, will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Interment will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Shai Nelson Hathaway was born on April 4th, 2011 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas. He departed this world into the arms of God that very same day seventeen minutes later. Shai spent his life in the arms of family and knew nothing but love. He touched many more lives than can be recounted here. His legacy will be teaching us all that life is a most precious gift from God and its value cannot be measured in time. Shai is the son of Peter and Kristin Hathaway. He is preceded in death by his Aunt Emily Hathaway and cousin Heather Reed. Shai is survived by his sister Amelia grandparents Beth and David Edwards, Dennis and Linda Reed, and Richard Hathaway aunts and uncles Chris and Amy Bulger, Sara Hathaway, Mark and Julie Gilbreath, Doug and Bridgette Anderson, Mike and Cindy Reed, and Leigh Kay and other dear relatives and friends.
