Steven Edmondson

June 24, 1956 — March 9, 2016

Steven Paul Edmondson, 59, died March 9, 2016, in Fort Hood, Texas.
Mr. Edmondson was born June 24, 1956. Being an army brat, he was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, lived in Germany and grew up in Killeen, TX. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School, graduated from Killeen High School and was on the varsity football team. Later in life he attended Central Texas College. Steve served his country in the United States Army for six years from 1975 - 1981.
He resided in Fort Worth, TX for many years and had a strong bond with his Aunt Louise Pullins. While in Fort Worth, he attended Tarrant County Community College and worked for Bell Telephone Company.
In the last years of his life he lived in Killeen, TX where he spent time being a helpful and loving son to his parents, Tommy and Shirley Adanandus. They could depend on him to check on them almost every day. Steve was the person they counted on to dog sit, make repairs, cut the grass, and help out when needed. He was employed by J & E Contract Services.
Steve could accomplish anything he set his mind to do: he was a handy man, a mechanic, a welder, a chef and wore many more hats. He loved spending his days constructing elaborate models that would take months to complete and visiting the firing range. He had a kind heart and would always make a point to spend one on one time entertaining his children and his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his older brother Ronald Edmondson and his biological father, Roscoe Edmondson.
He is survived by daughter Stephanie Edmondson (Houston, TX), son Roderick Wortham (Syracuse, NY), son Mark Edmondson (Ft.Worth, TX) , parents Tommy and Shirley Adanandus (Killen, TX) siblings: Toni Mills (George), Della Grasty (Jeff), Jennifer Miller (Alfred), Mark Adanandus, Linda Scott (Craig) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by a host of cousins, aunts, neighbors, family friends and his best friend Sandy the dog.
