Terra Lanise Quinn was born to Ira Lamart Pace Sr. and Fancy Ruth Freeman on July 13, 1974, in Norfolk, Virginia. She moved to Killeen, Texas January 1995 where she met and in 1996 married Specialist Ronny James Quinn, U.S. Army.
While in Virginia, Terra attended Norfolk State University. She continued her college education at the University of Central Texas and received her Bachelor of Science degree in August 1998. She subsequently became a certified teacher with Killeen ISD. For more than six years, prior to being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), she nurtured the minds of a few hundred Pre-K students. And, some parents ensured siblings of previous students were placed in her care.
Teaching and serving became her passion. And she received her “flowers of joy” each time a parent would comment on their child's progress or the many times that she would see students that recognize her while out in the community.
Terra soon developed another passion. One for praising and serving the Lord as she pursued salvation in Jesus Christ. She became Evangelist Quinn and gladly shared the word of God with anyone she met. She went on to birth her Bible and Brunch Ministry, whereby, she fed the souls and bodies of God's people.
She was afforded the opportunity to see her two daughters graduate from high school. With one entering the ministry, the other spent countless hours by her side, giving care when needed. She also had the comfort of knowing that her now 16-year-old son is being cared for by his father. As a caring mother, loving wife, devoted daughter, sister, and faithful child of God, despite battling MS, she continued her mission to love, serve, and uplift others.
Terra was preceded in death by her grandfathers Jimmie “Allen” Freeman Sr. and Willie F. Pace Sr., and one brother, Ira Lamart Pace Jr.
She is survived by her daughters Shajada Rrauchon Quinn (Killeen, TX), Dasia Monique Quinn (Killeen, TX); sons Ronny James Quinn II (Flint, MI), Contaviuos Cathrone (Dallas, TX); maternal grandmother Olivia G. Freeman (Ahoskie, NC); paternal grandmother Gladys M. Pace (Jacksonville, FL); brothers Terrence L. (Heather) Pace (Norfolk, VA), Vondell L. Pace (Norfolk, VA), Trayvon Everett, (Suffolk, VA), Cory A. Jefferson (Killeen, TX); and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
