Terri Baylor

July 27, 1963 — February 16, 2013

Terri Lynn Baylor was born on July 27, 1963 to Cleveland and Jeanette Baylor in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated for Topeka High School in Topeka, Kansas in 1981. While at Topeka High School, Terris was an outstanding basketball player. She joined the army immediately following high school and completed her studies to become a licensed vocational nurse in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her father Cleveland Baylor, her mother Jeanette Baylor and her oldest sister Yolanda Baylor. Terri is survived by one sister Cleva Renae BaylorCollins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

In 2010, Terri was diagnosed with breast cancer. After many surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, and with much love and support, she passed with grace and dignity. Terri went peacefully on February 16, 2013 while holding the hand of her BEST FRIEND Wendy Bell. She would ask Wendy will you be okay, can I go Terri made preparations and was ready for her eternal home. She fought a good fight. Terri was an incredibly brave and courageous woman. She was sweet, compassionate, smart and always there to listen if you needed her. She smiled even during times of trials and pushed us to think about the positive in every situation, which was not always easy.

Her legacy is one you dream of having when you finally leave this life. The one of being the most compassionate, the one who always takes time to listen no matter how it disrupts your day, the one who smiles and nods letting you know she understands, the person who will remind you that you are not alone.

Terri Baylor was a wellrespected Licensed Nurse at Temple Living Center Western Hills where she worked for many years. She will be missed.
