Terri Morrison

A memorial service for Terri P. Morrison, 43, of Killeen, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harker Heights Events Center with the Rev. R.W. Gilchrist officiating. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Ms. Morrison died Dec. 21, 2011. She was born Jan. 28, 1968, in Orlando, Fla.

She served in the U.S. Army as a legal specialist from Feb. 14, 1990, to June 17, 1994. During her tenure, she received numerous awards and decorations.

Ms. Morrison was a government services employee at III Corps, in the MSE G4 office, and she belonged to several charitable and social organizations the Order of the Eastern Star, the Heroines of Jericho, the Order of the Golden Circle, the Guild and her beloved Daughters of Isis. She also was devoted and beloved agent with the Cycles in Action Motorcycle Club, where she fulfilled her great passion for riding her motorcycle, as well as giving back to her community in whatever capacity she was able to do so.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Hayes Sr. and Ettrula Wigfall of Orlando.

Survivors include her son, Warren Lamone Rainge Buchannon wife Jonnita of Orlando her daughter, Chaunesey Tecarra Morrison of Killeen three grandchildren, Warren Lamone, Sir Warrick and Jonniya Renee Rainge Buchannon of Orlando her siblings, Kerry Hayes, Ursula Hayes, Antonio Hayes, Tela Hayes, Tammy Hayes, all of Orlando, and Otis Kibby Hayes Jr. of Killeen. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to cherish her memory.
