Thomas Hurst

Funeral services for retired Chief Warrant Officer2 Thomas McArthur Hurst Jr., 67, of Copperas Cove, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor McMillian officiating. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Hurst died July 5, 2011, at a local hospital.

He was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Whistler, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hurst Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Adelheid Menrath sons, Franklin Hurst of Germany and Harold Hurst of Germany daughters, Claudia Blakey of Newport News, Va., and Belinda Edwards of Killeen mother, Mary Alice Hurst of Prichard, Ala. brothers, Willie James Hurst of Mobile, Ala., Wendell Hurst of Mobile sisters, Alice Jeanetter Jordan of Mobile Marteal Laster of Mobile and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
