Tommy Moore

Services for SFC RET Tommy H. Moore of Killeen will be held at St. Paul Chong Hasung Catholic Church in Harker Heights on Tuesday May 21, 2013 At 10:00 A.M. with Father Richard ORourke M.S.C. officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, in Killeen, Texas.

Mr. Moore died May 16, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1946 in Piedmont, AL. He lived and went to school in Alabama until joining the Army in 1967.
Tommy served in the US Army for 20 years with service in Vietnam. During his service he was awarded numerous decorations. He retired in 1987 at Fort Hood and went to work for contractors on Fort Hood, retiring in 2011. He was married to Sandy in December 1990, in Harker Heights He was a member of St. Pauls Church and a forth degree Knight of Columbus. Tommy was an avid shooter, hunter and fisherman with an active sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of Killeen sons Tommy Moore JR, and his wife Paula of Spokane, WA David Moore, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo daughters Jenny Castillo and her husband Abdias of Elgin, TX Stacey Tinsley and her fianc Jason Dizon brother Johnny Moore, Piedmont, AL sisters Bobbie Ingram, Valdosta, GA Gail McGatha, Jacksonville, Al eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Annie Moore.
