Ursula Campbell

Born on July 9, 1943 in Manhattan, New York. Ursula A. Campbell was one of three children born to Samuel and Ursula V. Wilkinson. She have grown up in the Bronx, New York and graduated from James Monroe High School in 1961. She was married to Raymond Campbell on December 14, 1963. Ursula was a homemaker, home daycare provider and a foster parent taking care of hundreds children in her lifetime. During that time they adopted two boys both who are brothers. In September 1996 the family moved to Poughkeepsie, New York where she continued to be a foster parent and in December of 1996 became a widow. She relocated to Temple, Texas where her older son resides in July 2012 with her youngest daughter and five of her grandchildren. She loved taking care of children, knitting, sewing, and baking. Ursula passed away in her home on 30 August 2014 from pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 71. She is survived by six children included the two adopted: Karen A. Hicks daughter Raymond J Campbell Jr. son Theresa J. Johnson daughter Kristopher Campbell son Andre and Nicolas Brown Campbell two adopted sons and 10 grandchildren.
