Services for Ursula Magdalena McDonald, 83, of Harker Heights, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.BRBRMrs. McDonald was called home to be with her Lord Jesus on Jan. 17, 2009. She was born March 31, 1925, in Oberschlesien, Germany.BRBRShe was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, A.J. McDonald.BRBRShe was a dedicated and active volunteer with our veterans at the V.A. Hospital as well as within the community. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW 3892, DAV Chapter 29, National Home for Children and Women of the Moose Chapter 1416. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 573 for 25 years.BRBRSurvivors include two sons and a daughter, Jimmy L. McDonald and wife Brenda of Harker Heights, Johnny R. McDonald and his wife Sharon of Owasso Okla., and Janet M. Morrison-Cooper and her husband, Jeff, of Salado; six grandchildren, James of Abilene, Ursula of Harker Heights, Scott of Baytown, Ben and A.J. of Owasso, and David D.J. of Belton; and four great-grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, Austin and Brex.BRBRUrsula McDonald was a loving wife, mother, grandmother Oma and friend. She will be greatly missed by many. She has left her footprints on the hearts of all she met.BRBRMom, Oma, we will miss you greatly.
