Services for Vickie Lee Bernethy, 59, of Killeen are Friday, July 31, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Lifeway Fellowship with Reverend Jimmy Towers officiating.

Vickie passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, in a Temple hospital.

Vickie Lee Fender was born on June 14, 1956, in Bowie, Texas to the late Floyd and Frances Claudette (Jones) Fender.

A resident of Killeen from time to time she was a member of Lifeway Fellowship Church.
She was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her beloved dogs.

She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Floyd Wayne Fender.
She is survived by her children: Patricia Diane Van Lue of Colorado, Perry Van Jarman of North Carolina, Robert Craig Jarman of Texas, and Kimberly K. Crocker of Missouri; brothers: James Michael Fender of San Angelo, Timothy Bruce Fender of Washington State, and Renee Joy Ensley of South Carolina, and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
