Vonice Milton

Memorial services with military honors for Von R. Milton, 60, of Killeen, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating.

Mr. Milton died March 9, 2017, at a local hospital. He was born March 27, 1956, in Glendora, Miss., and raised in Chicago.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 15 years, moved to Killeen in 1995 and went to work for the Killeen City Cemetery, retiring as cemetery supervisor in 2017.

Mr. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Milton and B.Z. Jamison; and one brother, Comer Scurlock.
