Willie Robinson

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Harper-Talasek Chapel.
Burial will follow with full military honors in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 3:00 PM.

MSG (Ret) Willie C. Robinson returned to his heavenly home on January 18, 2016 in Temple, Texas at the age of 60.

Willie was the son of Lester Robinson and Mary Pitts Robinson. He was born on February 24, 1955 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1973 and then entered the US Army where he attained the rank of MSG and retired in 1996 at Fort Hood Texas where he and his wife had made their home. He then went back to school at Central Texas Community College and graduated with a degree in computer science. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan who loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Willie married Gertrud Pfneisl and they were blessed with two children; Rubin Robinson, New Orleans, LA. and Cecilia Ann Robinson, Killeen. Willie was grandfather to six grandchildren; Nevaeh Barnwell, Aaron Barnwell, Kayden Collins, Demontae Robinson, Ashanti Robinson, Trinity Robinson. He is also survived by his siblings, Delores Peterson, Lenda Robinson, Janet Drones, Dennis Robinson, and Cawlyn Robinson SR; and his very dear friends: Paul Jordan, Freddie Love, Demetrius Collins, James Ownes, Ronnie Givens, Roselle Robinson, Leslie Duson.

Willie was preceded in death by his father.
