Windy Michelle Schober, a beloved mother, dedicated teacher, and proud veteran passed from this life Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Killeen, Texas, at the age of 51.
Windy was born on October 25, 1972, in Bangkok, Thailand to Eddie Miller and Supon Vannekom Parsons. She brought kindness to everyone she encountered throughout her life.
Windy attended school at Central Texas College. She dedicated her life to mastering computer skills and sharing that knowledge with others. Her impact on her students was immeasurable, as she not only taught them valuable skills but also instilled in them a sense of confidence and determination. Windy’s commitment to nurturing young minds was reflective of her sweet and caring nature—she genuinely cared for those around her, always ensuring that everyone felt cherished and appreciated.
Beyond her professional life, Windy was a wonderful mother whose love knew no bounds. She created a home filled with laughter, music, and compassion, sharing countless memories with her family that will forever be treasured. Her love for animals showcased her gentle spirit; she found joy in caring for them, often treating them as part of her extended family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Windy served her country with honor and integrity.
Windy is preceded by her father, Eddie Miller.
Survivors include her mother, Supon Vannekom Parsons; stepfather, Ed Friedenberger; son, Josh Schober; brother, Eddie Miller II; aunt, Suppanne Coksey and husband, Gene; and close family friends, Stormie Wells and Gary Rhoades.
A memorial service to honor her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
