Anthony “Will” Alan Wilson, 55, of Henderson, KY, passed away on August 22, 2022, in Dallas, TX. Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, September 22 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen beginning at noon. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 21 from 6-8 pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
Anthony was born on January 23, 1967, in Henderson, KY to Darlene Hope and Ernest Wilson.
Anthony entered the Army on October 2, 1989, as an Armored Crewman. His service included deployments to the middle east in support of Kuwait freedom and Global War on Terrorism. He was awarded the Bronze Star for action during Iraq campaign. He retired as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years on October 31, 2009. He worked overseas with Vinnell Arabia for 11 years, before joining General Dynamics Land Systems in June of this year, where he was working in Kuwait. He was a loving husband to Sharon Wilson, and loving father to his children. He enjoyed spending time with his family in the Philippines and traveling around the islands. He enjoyed the beach and sightseeing. He was a great family man, father, loving husband, friend, and great person and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Will is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Wilson; son, Scott Alan Wilson’ daughters, Lisa Marie Wilson, and Sophia Ann Wilson; and brother, Brian Wilson.
