Hwang Tuk Su was born March 20, 1936, in Seoul S. Korea. She legally became Candy Becerra after marrying her husband Juan (Johnny) Francisco Becerra, on June 15,1969.

Johnny and Candy had 3 children, Sandy, John, and Rachel. The family was stationed in Fort Hood, TX in 1983, and after Johnny’s retirement from the Army in 1988, permanently settled in Killeen, TX.

Candy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was watching the little ones grow up to be amazing adults. She also loved gardening, cooking and watching her Korean dramas.

Preceded in death is her beloved husband Johnny who passed away July 2003, daughter Sandy who passed away June 2019, and son John who passed away April 2021.

She is survived by daughter Rachel, grandsons Michael, John, Zachary and Jonathan and granddaughters Victoria, Sofia and Kamilah. She also leaves behind great granddaughters Rosalind, Aria and Cassandra. Her legacy will continue with all who is survived by her.
