Cecil Ellison

Cecil Leroy Ellison was born on November 7, 1932, in Ellston, Iowa, the ninth child of the late Parks Meredith Ellison and Grace Leona (Thompson) Ellison.

He moved to Texas in 1972, and lived in Nolanville until his passing on October 18, 2021.

Cecil has a love for cars, Avon bottles, John Deere tractors, wolves, and hats.

He retired from the Army after serving 30 years, and is also retired form Killeen Independent School District, after working as a Custodian for Nolanville Elementary and East Ward Elementary.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Ellison, and his son-in law, George Dewitt.

He is survived by his children, Jeff Ellison; Karen Perdue of Nolanville; Dennis Ellison of Tennessee and Kristal Dewitt of Nolanville.

Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was a strong-willed man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
