Inge Glover

Inge Rosa Schineller Glover 79 of Killeen, Texas was called to her eternal resting place, Saturday February 27, 2021.  She entered this world on September 10, 1941 in Schweinfurt, Germany to Konrad and Hilda Anna Schineller.

Inge married and moved to Texas where she raised four children.  She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  After her children were adults she worked in retail and childcare.  She also enjoyed volunteering for the school system.

Inge achieved her goal of becoming an American citizen November 24, 1967.  She continued her education, received her GED and completed the Professional Paralegal Program.

Inge or Oma which is what her grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her, was an avid reader, she also enjoyed writing poetry and knitting beautiful sweaters and blankets.  She loved traveling and taking road trips.  One of her favorite things to do, was watch John Wayne or scary movies with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  They loved sharing popcorn and Pepsi during the movies.  She also enjoyed being at the lake with a fishing pole in her hand.

Oma always loved saying, “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.”  She loved Texas and was proud to be a Texan.

Inge was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bruce Clarke Hudson, and her brother Helmut Schineller.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Leon Hudson and wife Jolene of Austin, TX and Robert Hudson and wife Vickie of Conroe, TX, Daughter Romy Ann Lozano and husband Lupe of Hewitt, TX, Grandsons Robert Fermahin of Colorado, Leo Graham of Waco, TX, Chance Hudson of Austin, TX, Granddaughters Tanya Paiste of Harker Heights, TX, Brittney Hudson and Ashley Hudson of Conroe, TX, Lexi Hudson of Portland, OR, Yvonne Wolske of Robinson, TX and Crystal Erwin of Bates City, MO.  Eight Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, March 15, 2021, viewing will be 1:00pm-2:00pm with services following 2:00pm–3:00pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Killeen, Texas.
