Jamie Gonzales

Jamie Ann Gonzales, 44, passed away on November 21st, 2021 at her home in Copperas Cove. Services will be on November 29th, 2021 from 6-8pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.

Jamie was born at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas on November 21st, 1977. She grew up in Denver, Colorado. Jamie was a non-emergency dispatcher for the Bell County Sheriff's Department. Jamie volunteered her time every Saturday at the Living Grace Canine Ranch. She loved watching hockey and especially the Colorado Avalanche, she loved football and was a Denver Broncos fan. She was an avid reader, and a collector of Día de Muertos art.

Preceded in death by cousins Rene and David Lopez.

Survivors include mother, JoAnn Penno; father, Jesse Gonzales and step-mother, Maureen; grandparents, Jimmy and Janie Gonzales, and Pauline Penno; brothers, Jimmy and Jeremy Gonzales, and Sean Penno; sister, Stephanie Scharnhorst; and niece, Siren Scharnhorst; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as her beloved Pit Bulls, Kado and Khaliese.
