John Allen Clayton, age 39, passed away on May 25, 2022. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 10th at 11:00 am at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with burial following at Killeen City Cemetery. Visitation will be held the evening prior, Thursday, June 9th from 6-8 pm.
John was born on October 13, 1982, in Seoul, South Korea. In 1985, at the age of 2, he arrived in Killeen, Texas, where he lived the most of his life. Growing up, he went to Marlboro Heights, Haynes Elementary School, Marlboro Middle School, the Harker Heights Ninth Grade Center and on to Killeen High School where he graduated in 2001 and began his adult life. In 2002 he met Angelita Garza and had his daughter Erin Clayton, the love of his life. He held many jobs and continued to go to school over the years. He lived between Killeen and Lampasas. He moved back in with his parents in 2015 to try to get better from some of his health problems, and did good for the time, but on May 25, 2022, John passed away in his sleep.
John is survived by daughter, Erin M. Clayton; parents, Randolph and Chong Clayton; sisters, Brooke Morgan and Selina Robinson; brothers, Joseph Clayton and Mondlane Morgan; nieces, Destiny Robinson-Clayton, Aiyanna Robinson and Soleia Morgan; nephews, Orion Morgan, Xavier Morgan and Jisaiah Adair; daughter’s mother, Angelita Garza; uncles, Gregory Clayton, James Clayton, Wayne Hite and Charles Crawford; aunts, Debora Clayton, Selina Clayton, Shelia Alberta, Jae Soon Hite, Kwi Ok Crawford and Susie Tanner. In addition, our “BoBo” will forever be loved by special loved ones and is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.
