Patricia Boston

Patricia Ann Boston past from this life on September 22, 2019. She was preceded in death by
her Mother Jessie Lee Bennion Simon of Poplarville, MS; her Father James Louis Simon Sr. of
Longleaf LA; and her brothers James Louis Simon Jr. and Jimmy Lee Simon. Patricia was bom
in Elizabeth, Louisiana and grew up in Orange, Texas with her parents and her siblings Cascenia
Simon Richey, Jimmy Lee Simon, Frances Marie Simon Harris, and Tina Lynette Simon. She
attended Wallace Elementary, MB North Jr. High, and Lutcher Stark High School. She married
Andrew Thomas Boston and moved away to start and almost 50-year relationship filled with
love, travel, and family. Pat worked at a variety of organizations, but she was lovingly referred
to as Ms. Pat at MHMR where she worked for over 20 years. She was also affectionately known
in her community as she frequented several businesses and never met a stranger. Pat was
survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Andrew Boston; her daughters Mecia and Andrea
Boston; her adopted daughter Yoshenobia Dillard Harris; stepdaughter Tiffeni Hughes;
granddaughters MeChell Dotson, Simone Luckett, and Jadea Jackson; grandsons Kamran
Boclair, Alvin Hughes-Brown, and Nicholas Tucker; siblings Cascenia Simon Richey, Lorretta
Kennedy, Frances Simon Harris, and Tina Simon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
and cousins,
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 3, 2019 at Unity Baptist Church with
Pastor Richard S. Lewis, Jr. Officiating. Burial will be at Central Texas State Veterans
Cemetery. The visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. October 3, at Unity Baptist Church, 903 N.
First Street in Copperas Cove. Harper- Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of
arrangements. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers; please donate in her honor to the
